Our preschool program offers areas like science, exploration, dramatic play, creative and blocks. It also provides a quiet area where the child can relax using calming techniques.

Children at this age will learn many important skills through play; listening and language development, physical coordination and social development. The preschool program schedule will help your child acquire a variety of skills where children can work alone, in a small group, in a large group, or one-on-one with a teacher.

Some of these skills are:

  • Running, climbing
  • Learning to share and taking turns
  • Controlling of bladder and bowel
  • Manipulating small objects
  • Sorting familiar objects
  • Naming familiar objects
  • 500-3000 words (3-4 sentences)
  • Handles utensils
  • Feeds self
  • Follow simple directions
  • Ask questions
  • State own name

Kids First Academy

Kids First Academy is a Childcare, Preschool and Early Childhood Education Center where we focus on the development of the whole child (social, emotional, cognitive, physical and creative) using a philosophy of learning through play. Our mission is to Shape Bright Little Minds stimulating, encouraging and guiding them through this process.

All caregivers receive continuous training and education during the year and are certified in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Diseases and Child Abuse.

Our facility provides outdoor playgrounds, gross motor (gym) room, spacious classrooms and a variety of educational materials.

Balanced meals are offered based on the Food Program (breakfast, lunch, snack).
